Nutritional Health
Another aspect of body awareness is what you
eat. At the beginning you become aware that there is more to nutrition
than the four basic food groups taught in elementary school. Perhaps you read
about it in the news, or learned about it from a friend who is trying new ways
of eating. Perhaps you start to hear what your body is telling you and you try
new things out on your own. Another way is when your body is in crises and you
become sick and you are forced to make changes.
There are many different ways to changing your
diet. I started exploring new ways of eating at 19 years old after reading Fit
for Life, a book my mother gave me. Since then I have ventured from eating
Vegetarian to Low Fat Raw Vegan.
Whatever your path is, I will assist new ways of
looking at food and diet to improve your health.
